The Tivid Orphanage in partnership with the A3 Foundation has yesterday paid a heart-warming visit to soothe the suffering incurred by flood on an IDP camp in Makurdi, Benue state.
The A3 Foundation headed by its founder, Amb. (Dr) Aisha Audu-Emeje, revealed that most of her beneficiaries were children who were a sorry sight at the flood-wrecked IDP camp.
Recall that over 4,000 flood victims had earlier yesterday registered to take refuge at the camp put up for Internally Displaced Persons in Makurdi and over one-third of this population amounting to about 1970 persons are children.
It was gathered that the team came to the camp and shared out large amounts of cooked rice, meat and soft drinks and said that it is determined to keep extending this generosity to the kids for days on.
Calling on well-meaning Nigerians, the Tivid Orphanage Home and its partner, the A3 Foundation, request for support as they hope to keep feeding these displaced kids longer than planned.
